This week brought another reminder that AI’s biggest opportunities—and risks, are moving beyond the model layer. As autonomous agents gain access to company systems, financial information and sensitive workflows, the ability to monitor what they do is becoming critical.

Against that backdrop, Israeli tech announced at least $314 million in disclosed funding across cybersecurity, healthtech, fintech and enterprise AI. Zenity led the week with a $125 million Series C, followed by Oligo Security, Faye, QuantHealth, June AI, Arrakis Security and IAIG.

The headline exit was even bigger: Visa agreed to acquire BioCatch for $2.4 billion, while Deel acquired deepfake-detection startup Clarity for an estimated $40–50 million. The common thread is trust: securing AI agents, verifying identities and protecting the systems where autonomous software increasingly operates.
